Talking up a storm

The other night Charlie toddled into his room, grabbed a book off of the nightstand and began to "read." Chad peaked around the corner to spy and the quickly got the camera so he could take this video. It is a little grainy and dark, but turn up the sound, it is so funny to hear him talk and play with his Goodnight Moon book! Pat Shea, if you see this... Goodnight kittens!

First Baseball Game

This past Sunday Laure, Walker, Chad and I took Charlie to his first baseball game. I don't think he was quite ready for all of that stimulation. I posted a few pictures in the slide show on the left. The poor kid didn't stand a chance after mommy smeared sunscreen all in his eyes. It was down hill from there! Link to First Game Pictures

1st Birthday

Learning to eat with a spoon

Tonight at dinner we tried giving Charlie his own spoon to feed himself yogurt. At first he had the spoon in his hand and he kept offering it to Chad like he wanted to feed his Daddy the yogurt. Over all it went surprisingly well!

Mis-Adventures in walking

Is it wrong that we all three (Dad, Mom and Nana) laugh hysterically when Charlie falls down when trying to walk? At least Spiderman came out unscathed.

Charlie WALKS!

Mark it! Today Charlie took his first steps. We didn't get the best ones on camera but, he actually turned around and walked about four or five steps to get to a toy that Chad had in his hand. Take a look at this video and I will post another one here soon. I think we will spend all day videoing this child falling on his face.
