Scouts Field Trip
This is a bit dated, but back in March Charlie and the troop took a field trip to the local PBS station. They let the scouts into the "donation call room" to try out the equipment. We watch Rocky Mountain PBS quite a lot and I'm glad he was able to see a television station for reasons unrelated to cancer for a change.

Michael 6 Month Photos
For each kid at 6 months, we have taken them to get their picture taken with their name spelled in blocks. We have each of these photos hanging in our hallway and the kids always like to point them out and shout, "That's baby-me!" Since Michael
turned 6 months last weekend, we scheduled his session and marched the whole gang up to the Picture People. We decided to put all the kids together for a few shots and much to our surprise, they all paid attention to the photographer (for the most part) and they even let her pose them. This was nothing short of a miracle since 1.) Ana had just woken up from her nap, 2.) Daniel did not have one, 3.) Charlie is a habitual bad picture taker, and 4.) We have never had a photographer pose our kids.
The one thing we had going for us is that Michael is perhaps the happiest baby on the planet. This kid would smile and laugh if the Terminator (sans Schwarzenegger façade) picked him up and glared at him. Taking pictures of him is like shooting fish in a barrel. It must have been infectious. Everybody cooperated and as you can see in the gallery below, we got some great shots of all the kids.
After the photographer had gone through the pictures, she asked us to sign a photo release. She wanted to hang a couple shots of Michael in the store. The one with his blankie and the one with him holding his feet. So, Michael's modeling career has begun . . .

Primrose Mail: Sibling Rewind
Leave it to Wendy to have the memory of an elephant! Look what she dug up.
Ana and Owen were in the infant room at the same time. Now 2 years later Michael and Owen's little brother Riley are classmates. The pictures are super cute!

The Text reads:
Rewind 2 ish years ago to conversation #1
“Wouldn’t that be cool if somewhere way in the future we have little siblings that are not only as cute as we are, but are BFF’s like we are?”
“Yep! By the way, I like your onesie!”
Fast forward to present day conversation #2
“Dude! I bet when our sister and brother were in this class together, they weren’t BFF’s like us!”
“I know! By the way, your skin is really soft! Kinda like a baby’s!”Ana and Owen were in the infant room at the same time. Now 2 years later Michael and Owen's little brother Riley are classmates. The pictures are super cute!
