Birthday Camping Trip

Can anybody think of anything that says Happy Birthday like ten kids, six adults, three tents and no showers?   Neither can we!  So we packed up the kids and headed out for the prelude to Dad's 36th.

As you can see from the pictures, the kids had tons of fun playing on the slack line, climbing on boulders, hunting sparkly rocks (this was mainly Ana) and eating.  The adults had fun keeping kids out of the road, mending scraped knees, organizing gear and fixing food.

Friday we graduated another kiddo from Primrose! We are happy to get a little pay raise and usher Daniel into Kinder.

Primrose has started a new online system and they send pictures most days. I miss Wendy's colorful commentary, but will try to share the pics here in the blog.

New life into an old coaster, Roller Coaster that is

Oh G-Deb and Gary! How the kids have LOVED the little plastic roller coaster you brought over a few summers ago! The weather was finally nice enough to set it up on he porch and Michael had he best time. He even learned "reverse" Fred Flinstone's style.
