Best Santa Picture Ever
Every year at the kids' preschool (Primrose), Santa comes to visit the classes and the school staff is nice enough to take pictures and give them to the parents. I love that they do this. It saves me a trip to the mall or some other hectic, crowded place with three cranky kids just to sit in some Santa's lap. Last year Daniel was about 18 months old and as you can see from the picture, wasn't very excited to see Jolly Old Saint Nick!
This year Daniel and Charlie were both happy to see Santa.... Ana, not so much.
Its sad for me to think that next year I'll HAVE to take all of them to see Santa. Charlie will be in First Grade and only Daniel and Ana will get to see Santa at Primrose. Maybe Shelly, the Primrose Director, will let me sneak Charlie into the picture :)

Mommy's Birthday
That's a lot of candles! 33 to be exact.
Chad and Nana decided I needed a cake full of candles on my birthday. The funny part is the lighter ran out of fluid about 3/4 ths of the way through lighting them. So in actuality I am only like 26 :)

Charlie's Super(man) Chemo Day
Another Spinal Tap - Chemo day for Charlie! I look at this picture and I can't believe how big he looks in the recovery room bed. We have it down to a pretty good routine at this point. Charlie gets his port accessed and then goes into the procedure room. Then Dad runs down to the cafeteria and picks up the pancakes. By the time he gets back up to the 7th floor, Charlie is in recovery and waking up... HUNGRY.
We've noticed that the Methotrexate and Vincristine they give him on his monthly visits are impacting him the older he gets. He feels sick and tired much more quickly after his appointments then he used to. Or at least he can articulate his feelings more now that he is older.
This is the beginning of cycle 10 of 12. Meaning he has 6 months left. Each cycle is three months. June is fast approaching and we are READY.
I noticed , looking back at pictures, that Charlie always wears a superman shirt on the lumbar puncture days. I think it is probably a function of the fact he owns nearly as many superman shirts as his uncle Brad, but hey, it is appropriate. We think he is pretty SUPER.

Willbros Party
Chad's Holiday party for his company, Willbros Engineering, was early this year (thank goodness) and held at Venice Wine bar down town Denver.
What you can't see in the picture is the slight throw up marks from Ana. We left the boys with their sitter, Miss Taylor, but Ana was throwing up from her massive ear infection, or stomach virus, take your pic. So Nana was nice enough to keep the baby while we took the opportunity to get all dressed up and mingle.
